CAN researchers and partner organizations use participatory action research to  monitor socio-economic, agroecological and environmental indicators, direct relationships, and the use of the Sustainable Agriculture Fund. Our overall goals are to support environmental sustainability and the livelihood of farmers and their families.

Supporting Farmers
Your purchase of CAN’s AgroEco® Coffee Veracruz supports a group of 21 family farmers.
Environmental
Our goals are to increase both diversity and abundance of trees. Shade trees provide essential habitat for birds and other tropical forest species. Planting trees for firewood helps reduce deforestation.
Social
In 2012, we launched an international youth leadership network. Youth are developing community gardens to address seasonal hunger throughout their region.
