Inspired by Steve Gliessman and Mark Bittman debating the merits of the term “agroecology” during Steve’s Edible 101 presentation, Maywa Montenegro (food systems researcher, UC Berkeley) wrote an essay published today in Ensia Magazine. The essay, co-published by Ensia Magazine and Food Tank, looks at  “agroeocology as a cross-pollination of knowledge, grounded in science, practice, and social movement.”
